I have to make a graduate portfolio as part of my degree, but I have so many questions!

As a lecturer at a local university, I see so many pre-service teachers working really hard at their graduate portfolio at this time of year.  A graduate portfolio of practice, at this point in your career is going to be a very valuable tool, especially if you get it right.

Get it right? But what does that mean Selena?

Well, in this episode I answer questions sent to me by pre-service teachers about their graduate portfolios.  Interestingly, their questions are echoed up and down the career stages and so, even if you graduated a thousand years ago, it’s worth tuning into this one

Pre-service teachers! Let me answer your questions and give you some clarity

Pre-service teachers are important people. They represent the next generation of educators, the next generation of leaders in our profession and we need to support them and help them to be the greatest thing since sliced bread!  That support includes helping them with this graduate portfolio business!  So, in this episode I answer questions like:

  • Who am I building this portfolio for?
  • How detailed do I need to make ‘it’?
  • Will this get me a job?

and more. Tune in!
