Make your teacher portfolio stand out from the crowd

Everyone's got a portfolio these days...

How do I stand out from the crowd?

Times have changed havent they?  There was a time when simply having an ePortfolio was enough to help you stand out from the crowd. These days, everyone seems to have one!

Every graduate leaves with a portfolio and a great understanding of the standards and their focus areas.

It’s noisy out there and it can be hard to be heard let alone be spotted by the person who’s going to give you a job!

It's time to up your portfolio game!

Take a good look look at the home page (or front page) of your ePortfolio as it stands right now. Ask yourself “what does this home page say about me?”

“Does this stand out? Or am I presenting myself the same way the other hundreds of thousands of teachers have?”

In this episode we’re going to make sure that your ePortfolio’s front page goes from vanilla to inspiring.  The name of the game?

Get them interested and keep them long enough to give them time to read the important pieces of information you want to share with them.

How do we do that?
