Evidence Requirements:
- A Statement of service
- Evidence that you demonstrate each of the standards at Proficient. You DO NOT Need to demonstrate each focus area only each standard.
- A lesson observation
- The Summary Record of Sources of Evidence

Evidence Requirements:
- A Statement of Service or where that is not possible, through an official letter from an employer detailing employment duration & workload.
- Evidence of current teaching competence drawn directly from the applicant’s work as a teacher and comprising:
- evidence of student learning,
- principals/supervisors comments from observation of the applicant’s teaching,
- evidence of planning and assessment processes,
- engagement in professional learning.
Evidence must be to the proficient standards of the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers

Evidence Requirements:
- Evidence gathered using the Inquiry Approach to evidence you have met the 37 focus area descriptors at the proficient level
- Present this evidence to a panel
- A completed recommendation report from the panel

Evidence Requirements:
- You have completed a work-embedded assessment process at your site
- Evidence that you have met the proficient level of the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers
- Presented this to a Professional Guidance Panel
- Completed 20 hours of professional learning each year
- A recommendation from your principal has been made that you should move to full registration.

Teaching Days Required:
- Full Time Employees: Have 3 years to reach the requirement
- Part Time Employees: Have 6 Years
NOTE: This time starts the minute you are eligible to teach, regardless of whether you start work as a teacher immediately.
Evidence Requirements:
- You must submit five to eight items of annotated documentary evidence.
“Each annotation needs to:
- explain how and why your selected evidence shows that your practice meets the Standard Descriptor
- demonstrate, your understanding of practice that is described by the Standard Descriptor
- provide sufficient detail on the evidence for others outside your school/service environment to clearly understand it
At a minimum, annotations should:
- identify the descriptors being accounted for
- demonstrate how the evidence shows achievement of the Standard Descriptors and
- indicate, the impact on student learning.”
- A completed Proficient Teacher Accreditation Report from your principal or Teacher Accreditation Authority (TAA)

- Apply online in your online services at the QCT
- Have a reviewer make an assessment and make a recommendation
- Respond to recommendations
- Submit application

- Portfolio will be reviewed by a panel

- A declaration from an appropriate person that you have met the proficient standards
- A summary from this person which outlines why and how they know you’ve met the standards
- Evidence could be in a portfolio to demonstrate you meet the standards
